MENTOR-STUDENT COVENANT
The success of this program depends in part on the student. This contract and promise is primarily to help the student focus on his/her goals and to clarify the intentions in relationship to participation in this program. It will help the student define his/her call as a lay leader. This contract is between the student and the mentor, but even more between the student and the God who has called him/her to serve.
I promise to follow a process to formulate an educational and ministerial program in the following manner:
I agree to meet with my mentor once a week to pray, discuss, plan and evaluate my work and my progress in the program.
I promise to attend all classes of the program and to complete all assigned work.
I assume the responsibility of turning all my work in on time.
I understand that it is my responsibility to clarify anything I do not understand about my assignments with the professor or my mentor.
I will work with my mentor to use the information I learned in the classes to help develop my personal mission. At the end of the program I will discuss and develop with the help of my mentor, an essay in which I will express the direction and focus of my personal ministry. I promise to turn in this work with my final class assignment.
